Now, this is basically a post giving information and advice related to the exam. We have earlier shared a strategy on NIACL Assistant 2017.

Composite time of 60 minutes

The time for the test is 60 minutes; however you may have to be at the venue for approximately 90 minutes including the time required for logging in, collection of the call letters, going through the instructions etc. All tests except test of English Language will be provided in English and Hindi.

Sectional Cut-off is there in PRELIMS EXAM:

Candidates will have to qualify in each test by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company.

Things to remember:
  • The level will be more or less similar to IBPS Clerk Prelims 2016.
  • You must focus on fetching maximum marks since it is a state wise vacancy based exam.
  • Puzzles, Approximation, Data Interpretation, Cloze Test & Error Correction are Very Important!
  • Start off with your strongest subject as it will help you get maximum in short time.
  • Do not get stuck in One Question. If it is confusing or tough, Move on!

Difference between Quantitative Aptitude & Numerical Ability in Bank and Insurance Exams:

1. The pattern of questions are different. In quantitative aptitude, the questions need logical & sequential approach where in Numerical Ability, one has to calculate the numbers.

2. Usually we see the numerical ability in Assistant Prelims exams. Hence, the difficulty level of the questions in Numerical Ability are quite easier than the quantitative aptitude ones.


3. Numerical Ability tests your speed & calculation skills where in Quantitative Aptitude you need logically solve the questions. So the time taken in Numerical Ability is quite lesser than Quantitative Aptitude.
