The Fighter's Puzzle Test for Bank PO - June 9, 2016

Hello and welcome to exampundit. Here are the puzzle for today of the new segment, "the fighter's Puzzle Test for Bank PO".

The answers will be discussed by the aspirants at the end of the day.

The fighter, Chitrarth are in-charge of this segment.

Puzzle 1:
There are eight friends, namely Aniket, Neeraj, Vineet, Prashant, Saurabh, Santosh, Anand and Trilok. All of them own a different 2- wheeler, namely Bajaj, Hero, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, TVS, LML and Harley Davidson, though not necessarily in the same order. All of them are sitting around a circular table facing the centre. Trilok is not a neighbour of Neeraj while Santosh owns neither LML nor Harley Davidson. There is only one person between Aniket and Prashant. Vineet, who owns TVS, is third to the left of the one who owns Honda. The one who is sitting opposite the one who had Hero owns Harley Davidson. Neither Aniketnor Prashant has Honda. There are two persons between Saurabh and Anand, who own Heroand Yamaha respectively, but neither of those two persons is Vineet. Aniket is second to the left of Saurabh and owns Suzuki. Neeraj is an immediate neighbour of Anand.

Puzzle 2:
(1) There are seven persons A, B, C, D, E, F and G based in Delhi. Each of them is from a different state, has a different profession, and plays a different instrument.
(2) C, a doctor, is from Bihar.
(3) E and F play mandolin and violin, though not necessarily in that order.
(4) A is not from Kerala.
(5) The person from Kerala is an engineer and plays guitar.
(6)The lawyer plays sitar.
(7) The businessman from UP plays violin.
(8) The teacher and the cricketer play flute and piano, though not necessarily in that order.
(9) F is a pilot.
(10) The Maharashtrian is a teacher.
(11) The Gujarati plays piano.
(12) G, a Punjabi, does not play sarod.
(13) B is a cricketer.


Puzzle 3:

Eight friends−J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q live on eight different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the one above that is numbered two and so on till the topmost floor is numbered eight. J lives on floor numbered 4. Only one person lives between J and L. O lives on the floor immediately below L. Only one person lives between O and P. P lives above O. O lives on floor numbered 5. Only one person live between K and N, M lives on an even numbered floor but does not live on floor numbered 8. K lives below Q’s floor A ,B, C, D and E are five men sitting in a line facing to south - while M, N, O, P and Q are five ladies sitting in a second line parallel to the first line and are facing to North. B who is just next to the left of D, is opposite to Q. C and N are diagonally opposite to each other. E is opposite to O who is just next right of M. P who is just to the left of Q, is opposite to D. M is at one end of the line.
